Christina Dean’s expertise spans sustainable fashion, journalism and NGO management. She founded Redress in 2007 following a career in journalism with a specialist interest in environmental pollution and waste. Over the past 10 years she has successfully grown Redress from its inception in Hong Kong to now being a globally recognised leader in this field. Christina is presenter in Redress’ Frontline Fashion documentary and she co-authored the Redress consumer guide entitled Dress [with] Sense. Additionally she continues to author opinion-leadership pieces around the world. Christina has received various accolades for her work, including being considered by UK Vogue as one of the UK’s ‘Top 30 Inspirational Women’. In addition to Redress, Christina was a Founding Board Member of Feeding Hong Kong. Christina is passionate about driving positive environmental and social change through business, with her recent venture to invest in and co-found fashion brand and social impact business, BYT. Christina splits her time between Hong Kong and London.
