Harold Weghorst is Vice President of Global Brand Management at Lenzing AG, heading the company’s international marketing efforts. A veteran in the global branding and marketing sector, Weghorst has been driving the leading cellulose fibers company’s transformation from a B2B company to a B2B2C company since June 2016.
Weghorst brings with him over 25 years of experience in managing global retail businesses and brands. A leader and visionary in brand marketing and strategic brand management, Weghorst has a long history of leading successful brand launches, and brand positioning globally. Prior to his current role, he has held various regional and global brand management and marketing positions with Arc International, FrieslandCampina and Georgia-Pacific, where he led multiple leadership roles in business marketing programs across Retail, Food Service and B2B sectors.
An advocate for the adoption of innovative branding and marketing initiatives, Weghorst is experienced in complementing organizational growth and global brand development through the integration of innovative marketing and distribution initiatives with latest technologies and other business functions.
Weghorst holds a Bachelor in International Marketing from Saxion University and a Master Degree in Strategic Marketing from Nima at EQF7 level.
