Yang Xiaodong
Mr. Yang is an off-campus tutor of graduate students of Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology. Mr. Yang graduated from Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology with a full-time master’s degree and has held various positions including university teacher, clothing media journalist, department director of the China National Garment Association, deputy secretary-general, and assistant to the president. From 2017 to 2020, he had the opportunity to serve for three years in Xinjiang as a cadre talent supported by the Organization Department of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and the central enterprises of the national government. He successively served as a member of the party committee and deputy director (on-the-job) of the Textile Industry Management Office of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, and a member of the party working committee and deputy director (on-the-job) of the State-level Korla Economic and Technological Development Zone. He has been engaged in long-term research on the economic aspects of the garment industry, leading the compilation of garment industry plans at various levels in more than ten provinces, cities, and counties in China. He has also led the editing of annual national white papers on the clothing industry and actively participated in the formulation of guidance opinions for the The 13th Five-Year Plan and The 14th Five-Year Plan for the national clothing industry.
