WARM REMINDER from Hoi Ha Wan Marine Life Centre
PREPARATION TIPS 1. There are staircases along the hiking trail from Hoi Ha Village to the Hoi Ha Wan Marine Life Centre. The walk takes about 15 minutes and participants should make sure they are physically fit and wear comfortable walking shoes. 2. Bring plenty of water in a reusable water bottle. We are a single-use plastic bottle free zone! Water stations are available at all our centres. 3. Insect repellent, sun screen, hat, raincoat and umbrella are recommended if needed. 4. If necessary, please bring your seasickness prescription for the glass bottom boat ride. IMPORTANT REMINDERS 1. The glass bottom boat tour is weather dependent. It will be replaced by other activities if the on-site weather is not favourable for the boat trip. 2. The visit programme will be cancelled if a Typhoon Signal No. 3 or above, or Red / Black Rainstorm Signal is hoisted; or Air Quality Health Index reaches “Serious” level (band 10+) (Tap Mun District); within 3 hours before the start of the visit. WWF will rearrange another visit if the programme is cancelled under these conditions. |
