Growing up in the place of Indian mountains and myths, Uttarakhand, Mannat Gupta always had a keen eye for art and design. A fashion design graduate from one of the prestigious Parsons School of Design, her time in New York exposed her to a diverse set of cultures, communities and ideas. It was in this metropolis that her flair for creative thinking and fashion grew leaps and bounds.

In 2019, Mannat started experimenting with colours. This led her to take her expertise in design and the business acumen she received from her family to launch her namesake label in 2020. On launching her label, she first started experimenting with natural powder dyes which resulted in innovative textures and patterns on fabrics.

This fuelled her further to launch her first collection, a compendium of easy separates, timeless cuts and sophisticated materials, for her label. More than anything, Mannat’s design philosophy has always focused in serving as an armour for modern-day women who epitomize strength and independence.

Her creations, thus, often give precedence to comfort and fit. Other than her clothing label, Mannat hopes to keep giving back to society. She has previously volunteered for an NGO called Devbhumi Rural Development Society, where she taught underprivileged children how to read and write, along with providing them with free healthcare, dental care and martial art classes.

Starting life in the vibrancy of Shanghai, China, Vincent Li trained as a dancer from a young age. He took the path into the technical world of IT from School but made the bold full circle of coming back to his true self by reentering the quixotic world of the arts to design fashion.

Vincent studied fashion in Melbourne and Hong Kong. In 2013, Vincent took his internship at J.W.ANDERSON when he returned to Australia to start his label, VINCENT LI, in 2014, which based in Melbourne. What is it about Vincent that we all remember on that first meeting? It’s the bright welcoming quiet friendliness and then the effervescent laughter that just about captures everyone into his world and leaves an indelible impression. But chat a bit further and you will find out more. Vincent’s passion and love for fashion is not just to create something new and amazing to wear but it’s much deeper, he wants to capture the emotions and heart of the wearer. It’s not the aesthetics but the whole; you put the clothes on and then begin the journey into intellectual artisanship which each of his garments aims to instil. The designer’s personality is infused into every piece he creates.

participated in London Men’s Fashion Week and Shanghai Fashion Week.

In 2016, VINCENT LI presented its “Left Ear” collection with the Melbourne orchestra New Palm Court during the Viking Australia Melbourne Fashion & Cultural Festival.

VINCENT Li’s “Disguise” collection was selected for Melbourne Fashion Week 2016- Fashion Industry Creative Series Show. In September 2016, Vincent Li was selected as a Not Just A Label Global 50 Emerging Designer to exhibit at Origin Passion & Beliefs 2016 in Milan.

In 2018 Seven Australian fashion designers (Sarah Joseph Couture, A.BCH, EWOL, Keegan, Leah Da Gloria, Vincent Li, and LunarSand) came together in Australia’s first ever film-fashion industry collaboration for the runway seen in Australia, with each design exhibited elements of Jurassic World iconography – known so well from the big screen – reimagined as designer couture for the runway

and the retail racks.

The 2018 “Mirrigang” collection was presented at Hong Kong Design Week and Melbourne, it is the first collaboration of the brand with Australian Government Aboriginal fashion.

In 2019, VINCENT LI collaborated with Hong Kong Ballet on the Wear-Dance Project with the Choregrapher – Helen Lai.

In 2021, VINCENT LI was selected by Fashion Scout and Fashion Scout China, and presents AW21 Collection “Voice Without Trace” for London Fashion Week China Trip 2021.

Marita Setas Ferro is the Creative Director and Founder of Marita Moreno. Marita is a person who always seek for knowledge: She has a Bachelor and Master degree in Sculpture at FBAUP – FACULTY OF FINE ARTS AT UNIVERSITY OF PORTO, a Post-graduation degree in Cultural Management of Cities (ISCTE / INDEG), Fashion Design Course (MODATEX), Corseterie / Lingerie Course (MODATEX), and she also has The Letter of Craftsman. She has always been involved in fashion industry and related areas: She worked in fashion companies as well she was a professor for 12 years of Fashion Design classes in Árvore – Arts School in Porto, Portugal. As a sculptor, her art pieces are related to woman’s fashion: The connection between sculpture and clothing becomes a constant of her professional production (wardrobe), artistic production and fashion production, where she develops a series of objects in textile art – either sculptural or wearable.

After working so many years in fashion, she decided to go with her own project that was related to her background as a sculptor as well as a teacher. Marita Moreno was born.

Besides leading the brand, she still develops work and projects in the field of fashion training and teaching.

Yan obtained her first Fashion Design degree from Nottingham Trent University respectively. Before degree course, she studied Fashion design and Product development in Hong Kong Design Institute.

Her graduate collection “Underground-the world beneath your feet” is horned with

the Creativity Award from the Hong Kong Fashion Designers Association and one of the finalists of Young Talent Award Hong Kong in 2011.

After graduated, Yan worked with three local fashion brands as a fashion designer.

In 2016, her personal clothing brand “WHY” launched.

He has won many awards, including International Design Award Gold Winner by IDA, ‘40 Under 40 Award’ by Perspective Magazine, ‘10 Best Emerging Designers Across the Globe’ by ELLE, ‘Global Design Award (Silver Award)’ by HKDA, ‘Shenzhen Global Design Award’, and ‘Design for Asia Award’. He was invited to showcase his latest collections in Tokyo, Shanghai, Beijing, Singapore, Paris Fashion Week, MOCA Taipei Museum and Triennale di Milano. In 2018, he was selected to represent Hong Kong in the ‘Belt and Road’ International Young Fashion Designers Showcase Tour. Li also travelled across Iceland, Panama, Tanzania, Beijing and Zhuhai to participate in exhibitions and fashion shows of design and cultural exchanges. He designed uniforms as the design consultant of China Duty Free Group.

In 2012, Li established his own fashion brand FAVEbyKennyLi which emphasises eco-friendly and down-to-earth fashion concepts, creating works closely related to our daily lives. He also launched his hand-made ‘collar collection’, using recycled material to create three dimensional collars which are a cross between clothes and necklaces, adding a unique edge to outfits. His fashion works have been included in the permanent collections of the Hong Kong Heritage Museum and China Silk Museum.

The passion for fashion seems to have been born in her DNA, although she only had learned to sew at the age of 18. Concerned with natural resources, her creations have always involved new uses of an existing and disused materials.

At the end of her fashion design bachelors’ graduation in 2017, she has launched her reward own clothing line from tailoring upcycling. It all started with disuse and old-fashioned male jackets in her parents’ wardrobe, which then served as the basis for her final course project. As a creator, Wendyel Borin believe “when we make clothes by other clothes, we work like as collage. I particularly like this kind of technique; it inspires me more than create a garment in a raw textile. And the result by the reconstruction and upcycling are fascinating, it gives to us infinite possibilities to create new shapes and cuts. To me, it was always like a manifest the use of the tailoring to provide the deconstruction of the silhouette for different bodies”.

In 2015, she completed her Master of Visual Arts degree programme (Experience Design) at the Hong Kong Baptist University and later work as a part-time Lecturer of Wearables there.

She believes that there should be alternatives in fashion, new and playful approaches to design. She specializes in garment concept, construction, fabric manipulation and graphics. Apart from own collection and commercial projects, she also participates in creative programmes/open calls.

Years of experiences and encounters in the fashion industry have also influenced her to start reforming to a sustainable way of doing wearable, and incorporating the circular economy concept. She begins to host upcycling workshop and work on new product line and user experience in 2019.

He was invited to showcase his latest collections in Tokyo, Shanghai, Beijing, Singapore, Paris Fashion Week, MOCA Taipei Museum and Triennale di Milano. In 2018, he was selected to represent Hong Kong in the ‘Belt and Road’ International Young Fashion Designers Showcase Tour. Li also travelled across Iceland, Panama, Tanzania, Beijing and Zhuhai to participate in exhibitions and fashion shows of design and cultural exchanges. He designed uniforms as the design consultant of China Duty Free Group.

In 2012, Li established his own fashion brand FAVEbyKennyLi which emphasises eco-friendly and down-to-earth fashion concepts, creating works closely related to our daily lives. He also launched his hand-made ‘collar collection’, using recycled material to create three dimensional collars which are a cross between clothes and necklaces, adding a unique edge to outfits. His fashion works have been included in the permanent collections of the Hong Kong Heritage Museum and China Silk Museum.

Otto Tang holds a BTEC Higher National Diploma in Fashion Design from the University of Saiford, and (BA) Hons Fashion Design from University of Huddersfield (First Honor). Otto joined veteran fashion designer Lu Lu Cheung’s label to start and develop his career in fashion design immediately after his graduation. Otto assisted to create numerous acclaimed collections for Lu Lu Cheung, including several spring/summer and fall/winter collections from recent years. As a prolific young practitioner of fashion design, Otto participated in numerous fashion contests, and holds the notable distinction of winning outright the Young Designers Contest (Ten Best Collection) organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council in 2003, the Hong Kong New Collection Award (Overall Winner) organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council in 2005; and the Young Designer Talent Award 2007 organised by Hong Kong Design Centre.

Hung Weiyu was a finalist of the Redress Design Award 2018 as well as a semi-finalist of the 2017 cycle. He was awarded the Redress Design Award 2020 Rising Star accolade in recognition of his new eponymous brand (launched in 2019) which has gained tremendous recognition through a wide range of projects including being selected for the Vogue Talents 2020 issue, and the WEIYU HUNG x The R Collective collaboration for Net-a-Porter. Weiyu works with lace and textile companies across Taiwan using their dead-stock and production leftovers for his collections. He also uses up-cycled coffee powder textiles, and combines barkcloth with crocheting, embroidery, and knitting techniques, exploring new sustainable design approaches around traditional crafts.

Weiyu holds a degree in Fashion Design from the Fu Jen Catholic University, Taiwan. Alongside running his brand, he is currently studying Master in Fashion Design from ArtEZ University of Arts (Netherlands).

Growing up in the place of Indian mountains and myths, Uttarakhand, Mannat Gupta always had a keen eye for art and design. A fashion design graduate from one of the prestigious Parsons School of Design, her time in New York exposed her to a diverse set of cultures, communities and ideas. It was in this metropolis that her flair for creative thinking and fashion grew leaps and bounds.

In 2019, Mannat started experimenting with colours. This led her to take her expertise in design and the business acumen she received from her family to launch her namesake label in 2020. Starting life in the vibrancy of Shanghai, China, Vincent Li trained as a dancer from a young age. He took the path into the technical world of IT from School but made the bold full circle of coming back to his true self by reentering the quixotic world of the arts to design fashion.

Vincent studied fashion in Melbourne and Hong Kong. In 2013, Vincent took his internship at J.W.ANDERSON when he returned to Australia to start his label, VINCENT LI, in 2014, which based in Melbourne. What is it about Vincent that we all remember on that first meeting? It’s the bright welcoming quiet friendliness and then the effervescent laughter that just about captures everyone into his world and leaves an indelible impression. In 2016, VINCENT LI presented its “Left Ear” collection with the Melbourne orchestra New Palm Court during the Viking Australia Melbourne Fashion & Cultural Festival.

VINCENT Li’s “Disguise” collection was selected for Melbourne Fashion Week 2016- Fashion Industry Creative Series Show. In September 2016, Vincent Li was selected as a Not Just A Label Global 50 Emerging Designer to exhibit at Origin Passion & Beliefs 2016 in Milan.

In 2018 Seven Australian fashion designers (Sarah Joseph Couture, A.BCH, EWOL, Keegan, Leah Da Gloria, Vincent Li, and LunarSand) came together in Australia’s first ever film-fashion industry collaboration for the runway seen in Australia, with each design exhibited elements of Jurassic World iconography – known so well from the big screen – reimagined as designer couture for the runway

and the retail racks.

The 2018 “Mirrigang” collection was presented at Hong Kong Design Week and Melbourne, it is the first collaboration of the brand with Australian Government Aboriginal fashion.

In 2019, VINCENT LI collaborated with Hong Kong Ballet on the Wear-Dance Project with the Choregrapher – Helen Lai.

Trained in both fashion and textile design and holding a Master’s Degree in Sustainability in Fashion, Bojana Draca is an award winning designer of distinguished style. In her work, she combines strong concepts with unique technical skills and sustainable design strategies. With her brand Farrah Floyd, she unites superior quality in both design and sustainability. The final products are unique, contemporary and ready-to-wear.

Since 2018, Bojana owns and manages a concept store in the center of Brussels. The store serves as a platform for designers and artists to showcase and sell their work. As a curator, her main criteria are aesthetics, ethics and innovation.

Bojana has worked as a freelance designer and held workshops at Universities in Philippines, Hamburg and Berlin. She spoke at Belgrade Design Week and Berlin Zero-Waste Festival. In 2017, Bojana was chosen one of 5 finalist for mentorship award by Fashion Council Germany and in 2020, she was selected to be part of prestigious program MAD Fly, by MAD Brussels.
