12:45 p.m. Assembly at G/F Seminar Room, CITA Building, Kowloon Bay
1:00 p.m. Departure from CITA Building (Kowloon Bay)
1:45 p.m. Arrive Mai Po
2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. Mai Po Eco-tour
  • Birdwatching experience at bird hides
  • Close encounter with different types of wetlands along a boardwalk built inside gei wais (traditional shrimp ponds)
  • Encounter different types of wetlands such as gei wai, fishpond, mangrove, reedbed and freshwater marsh, etc.
  • Learn the importance of biodiversity and wetlands conservation
5:15 p.m. Departure from Mai Po
6:00 p.m. Arrive and dismiss at Kowloon Bay MTR station
