Peter Hui

Chairman of Hongkong Knitwear Exporters & Manufacturers Association (HKKEMA)

Peter Hui is a prominent figure in the knitwear industry, known for his innovative leadership and dedication to sustainable fashion. He is the Founder and CEO of King of Knit Fashion Limited, established in 2006 and he is also the Founder and Chairman of Cool Partners International Limited. Under his guidance, the company has become a leader in high-quality knitwear, directly collaborating with Japanese and Australian clients.

As a second-generation family business member, Peter leveraged his inherited advantages to establish King of Knit Fashion Limited and Cool Partners International Limited. His firsthand experience in the knitwear industry spans over two decades, during which he has witnessed significant shifts from labor-intensive methods to automated production processes. Peter believes in adopting new technologies to keep pace with the ever-changing market while maintaining his companies’ core values: high-quality products and effective time management.

Beyond his company, Peter is deeply involved in various industry organizations and initiatives:

  • Hongkong Knitwear Exporters & Manufacturers Association: Chairman since 2019
  • Knitwear Innovation and Design Society: Chairman since 2024
  • Textile Council of Hong Kong: General Committee Member since 2018

In 2022, Peter was honored with the Guangdong-HK-Macao Greater Bay Area Outstanding Young Entrepreneur Award, recognizing his contributions to the industry.

Peter’s commitment extends to promoting knitwear fashion design and supporting the development of local youth. His leadership and vision continue to shape the future of the knitwear industry, ensuring its evolution and sustainability for generations to come.
