Designer Vickie AU, experienced Fashion Designer with a demonstrated history of working in the apparel and fashion industry for twenty years, skilled in trend analysis, corporate’s branding, , fashion design and education.

She established “V Visionary Design Studio” on 2018 with the focus on sustainable fashion and launched her sustainable fashion brand “V VISSI” on 2019.

In addition, Vickie extended her business not only in sustainable fashion but also with the goal of “Fashion for Good”. She developed the social innovation team, “Look Cool Do Good” to execute the empowerment with the community, fashion industry stakeholders and corporates through “Collaborative, Innovative and Sustainable“ to co-create her products and services with the sustainable and community empowerment concept. She awarded the funding from Create Hong Kong and SIE Fund to support her “Fashion for Good”  business concept on “Creativity, Transformation, Sustainability”.

Designer Vickie AU, experienced Fashion Designer with a demonstrated history of working in the apparel and fashion industry for twenty years, skilled in trend analysis, corporate’s branding, , fashion design and education.

She established “V Visionary Design Studio” on 2018 with the focus on sustainable fashion and launched her sustainable fashion brand “V VISSI” on 2019.

In addition, Vickie extended her business not only in sustainable fashion but also with the goal of “Fashion for Good”. Dr. Chris K. Y. Lo is the associate professor, discipline leader of fashion business, former programme director of BA in Fashion and Textiles, and Chairman of MA in Sustainable Fashion and Innovation Programme development committee at the Institute of Textiles and Clothing of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He teaches sustainability-related subjects at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

He published in mainstream business journals such as Organization Sciences, M&SOM, Journal of Operations Management, Decision Sciences, Journal of Business Ethics, focusing on the environment, human health, and sustainability. Many of his publications confirm a direct linkage between environmental and social performance and firm short-term and long-term financial performance.

His recent study about why firms ignored workers’ safety issues was covered by international newspapers, such as the Guardian, and won the best paper award of Journal of Operations Management in 2020. He is also the winner of the Responsible Research in Management Award 2017, PolyU faculty award for outstanding performance and achievement in teaching (Individual Award) 2017, and faculty award for research and scholarly activity (team award) “ Research projects combating COVID-19” in 2020.

He is the associate editor of Decision Sciences (Product and process innovation department), Service Science (Environmental and Social Responsibility Department), guest editor, and editorial review board of Journal of Operations Management.

Meiyan Chan is a sustainable fashion designer based in Hong Kong. She is the winner of the Redress Design Award 2019 Hong Kong Best Runner-up Prize. She studied Fashion Design at ESMOD Paris and works as a ready-to-wear and evening wear designer across Hong Kong SAR, China and USA. Her designs are aiming at novelty, versatility and longevity. She believes “you are what you wear, your choice of garment should represent who you are, your style, your personality and your ethic” Currently, she is the designer for The R Collective, meanwhile working on her collection to promote sustainable fashion.

Meiyan Chan is a sustainable fashion designer based in Hong Kong. She is the winner of the Redress Design Award 2019 Hong Kong Best Runner-up Prize. She studied Fashion Design at ESMOD Paris and works as a ready-to-wear and evening wear designer across Hong Kong SAR, China and USA. Her designs are aiming at novelty, versatility and longevity. She believes “you are what you wear, your choice of garment should represent who you are, your style, your personality and your ethic” Currently, she is the designer for The R Collective, meanwhile working on her collection to promote sustainable fashion.
